Empowering Leaders

The situations we have to deal with in the variable, uncertain, complex and ambiguous world of the period we are in are renewing every fact we know, from every area in our private lives, to our business methods and leadership style. However, the effect of the leader or manager on the results is an indisputable fact. We are leaders as much as the effect we create… In order to create that effect, the most fundamental element is for the leader/manager to own their own uniqueness and self.

‘Self’ in Öz is a workshop series that enables leaders to evaluate the impact they create on themselves, their teams and all the relationship systems they interact with from a holistic perspective.

In the first step, workshop participants will determine their ‘Authentic Leadership’ motto by bringing together their own strengths, values, mindsets and different perspectives. In the second step, ‘Leadership for Authentic Teams’, they will determine the ‘Authentic Team’ motto with team members so that each member of their team consisting of different talents can add value to the team with their own uniqueness, and they will work on communication models that they can implement to ensure sustainability.

In the third step, ‘System-Focused Leadership’, they will deepen their perspectives such as recognizing the relationships in their own teams and other teams we are in contact with and their impact on the results, - Revealing meta skills, - Naming toxins in teams and using anti-doses - Evaluating all voices in the team as the voice of the system, and moving from a personal perspective to the perspective of the system with the ‘Deep Democracy’ skill.

Before the first study module, an inventory will be sent to all participants to shed light on their ‘strengths’. Before the second study module, the team members will be asked to send an inventory to determine their strengths and come back with a combined report on their team's strengths.

Before the third study module, the participants will be sent a system inventory where they will evaluate the team as a system. In this study module, the participants will be introduced to the concept of Relationship System Intelligence in addition to Emotional Intelligence and Social Intelligence. They will develop different perspectives on how to skillfully work with the emotional aspects of ourselves, others, the team or all levels of wider relationship systems, which are necessary for original, flexible, resilient individuals, partnerships and teams.

In the final of this last study module, they will gain a sustainable perspective by comparing and seeing the Original Leadership philosophies with a sailboat and sailboat sailing with the SailBoat Metaphor’ ® ‘Sailboat Sailing’ application. At the end of the second study module, the book ‘Beyond the Journey’, which is about the value a professional manager creates in his own life and its impact on his organization during the process of progressing by embracing his originality, will be given as a gift.
