Team and Relationship Systems Coaching
According to the ICF definition of team coaching, team coaching is an experience that provides an opportunity for a team to achieve sustainable results and ensure continuous improvement. As it requires the team to be on the same level regarding high team performance goals, remain innovative, and quickly adapt to internal and external changes, team coaching has become an increasingly important tool in corporate environments.
When I take this definition as a reference, what team coaching means to me is an experience in which a roadmap is created together for how a team will implement the plans they develop in moving toward their strategic goals.
Team members focus on creating a +1 Voice, or "the voice of the system."
When viewed from a systemic perspective, it leads to the emergence of sustainable progress methods, improving the dynamics of teams and organizations, increasing collaboration, and facilitating the achievement of goals while also providing foresight on how to deal with obstacles when needed. It clarifies the interactions between team members and their impact on organizational success.
When combined with the Team Diagnostic inventory, it provides data on where the team stands in various areas at the beginning and end of the team coaching process. Ensuring sustainability becomes the responsibility of passing this on to the Team Leader at the end of the team coaching process.
Typically, the team coaching process spans six months with three sessions, but it can also be conducted under different conditions based on the needs and resources of each organization.
